Full Stack Application Developer (Cobol) (Ref 26150) job at JOBLINE RESOURCES PTE. LTD. West Islip, NY, US

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop new React UI screens in a well thought out manner to ensure scalability and reusability of the program
Ensure the look and feel of the UI to be consistent throughout the entire application
Perform build task in AWS cloud environment
Develop backend API to handle processing logic
Work in Ops team to take over legacy system in COBOL and carry out enhancements and defect fixes
Carry out local unit testing to ensure quality of code

Requirements • Diploma / Degree in Computer Studies or related Top 3 Must have skills / Primary skills

Strong proficiency in frontend UI development, particularly with React in Typescript, HTML, CSS etc
2 years experience with backend development in Node.js and Java Springboot frameworks
Must have 2 years experience in mainframe COBOL language

Good to have skills (Optional)

Familiar working in AWS environment
Experience with unit test framework like Jest, Junit, Mockito etc.
